In the Libidotheist pantheon (or at least one of them), the tanuki represents fertility.
Other gods include the goat for lust, the fox for seduction, the bull for masculinity, the dog for affection, the snake for dominance, and the mouse for submission.
This was one of the first pictures where I started figuring out how to draw cast shadows.
