Scragdad always had an overactive sense of empathy. Even when he was at a very low level, whenever he would see another Pokemon evolve, he'd have to hold B just to contain himself. Eventually he started carrying an everstone around and just never happened to evolve. Once he had himself a scragbab son, he loved to spoil and pamper the boy because it made him feel so good to make own flesh and blood so happy. As the scragbab grew into a young adult scraftson, scragdad seemed giddy at the prospect of his son soon finding a loving mate and living out his happiest days of all.
